The last stretch
Italian hill towns present the outward-move problem in its most extreme form: restricted zones, stepped lanes and archways cut for a cart, with the final stretch into the house frequently walked by the crew in relays. That is entirely workable, and it is a longer day than a suburban move, so it gets surveyed and crewed for rather than discovered.
The restoration house is the second particularity. If the destination has no power, no lift and a floor still going down, say so — delivering into local storage and moving in properly afterwards is often the cheaper and calmer answer.
